Indian Air Force will recruit various posts in technical and non-technical branches in Flying Branch, Permanent Commission and Short Service Commission under special recruitment. This recruitment in Indian Airforce will be conducted for more than 300 posts. Eligible and interested candidates for this recruitment can apply online from the official website of Indian Air Force. Indian Air Force Recruitment AFCAT 2022 Age Limit

• Flying Branch: For this the age limit of the applicant should be 20 to 24 years, in which the age will be calculated as on 1st July 2023. i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
• Ground Duty (Technical / Non-Technical) Branches: For this the age limit of the applicant should be 20 to 26 years, in which the age will be calculated as the basis on 1st July 2023. i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).

Indian Air Force Recruitment AFCAT 2022 Application Fee

For AFCAT Entry, all applicants will have to pay an application fee of Rs.250. Whereas the application fee has not been kept for NCC Special Entry / Metrology Entry.

For Flying Branch : B.Tech/B.E course or Graduation in any discipline 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

Ground Duty (Technical) – Applicants must have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level with minimum 60% marks OR Four years Graduation OR Post Graduate in Technology OR Section A & B of Aeronautical Society of India Must have scored minimum 60% in the exam.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical) – NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate and other details as per Flying Branch Eligibility.

AFCAT 2022 Selection Process

The Selection Process of AFCAT 2 2022 includes the following Stages:

It is mandatory for the candidates opting for Ground Duty (Technical) branch to appear in both AFCAT as well as Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). Full-Form of EKT is Engineering Knowledge Test.
